4th grade art with ms. stagner
In fourth grade, we are focusing on the history of abstract art. We begin with Paul Klee and Wassily Kandinsky, and examine artists such as Charles Demuth, Georgia O'Keefe, Jackson Pollock, and Keith Harring. Too often students put pressure on themselves to create something "perfect." By examining and creating our own abstract works, students realize they can create something with a wonderful and rich meaning, that may not necessarily be "perfect."
